This halloween I taped a sign saying COMMUNISM in red on my chest and handed out one piece of candy for each kid and if they complain I say, “Well, look at that you just learned about Communism.” One dad already gave me a dirty look.

You cant just blame it on society. First of all, we are society. Secondly, the fact that somebody thinks that they are ugly may have nothing to do with society. It may be caused by the fact that they have low self-esteem. This could be caused by genes or their family or home etc? Not necessarily by society. Not everything is “societies” fault. And even if it was, you cant sit behind a computer and thank society for making people feel not good enough. You cant just go around using that excuse. Society these days is a horrible place and the input it has on people is huge, but it doesnt mean that you can use it as an excuse. We are society and sitting around just blaming it on society is not going to change anything or anyones views. So if someone thinks that they are ugly, and yes it may have been “society”, instead of blaming it on that how about you make them feel better. Or how about you try to change the monster that is society. Or how about you stop and think. Think about what is society? Who is society? Because maybe then you would stop using it as an excuse for 100% of everyone’s low self-esteem and start making a change.
